Dr. Mohammad Mahabubul Alam is specialised in advanced paediatric and neonatal surgery and is a well recognised name in the field of paediatric minimal invasive surgery and the latest methodology of paediatric surgery in Bangladesh. Extensive experience and updated knowledge of the advancements in paediatric surgery make him especially skilled and thorough in his work.

He is currently working as Assistant Professor of the Paediatric Surgery Department at Dhaka Medical College & Hospital, Bangladesh. He has successfully performed thousands of paediatric surgeries, including many of the most complex cases.

Patients from across the country come to him for paediatric urology, neonatal surgery, paediatric neurosurgery, paediatric colorectal surgery, paediatric hepatobiliary surgery, paediatric tumour surgery and paediatric minimal invasive surgery. He is a much appreciated surgeon who has adopted minimally invasive paediatric surgery and paediatric neurosurgery in his practice.

He is involved with several national and international professional societies and organisations, and serves as Scientific Secretary of the Association of Paediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (APSB). He has around ten publications in national and international journals. His academic career is enriched by research work and paper presentations at national and international conferences.
